SMW Autoblok Driven Tooling

SMW Autoblok also offer a range of live tooling in straight, right angle and universal position heads, designed to match the specifications and performance of specific machines.
SMW features include:

  • Gears with patented square drive keys that are peripherally ground and lapped in matching pairs prior to assembly.
  • This gives uniform torque, minimum backlash, no wearing of drive keys and reduces tool noise. 
  • Special sealed precision dual spindle bearings, allowing for even flow of grease between special dual bearings, reduced heat and extended bearing life.
  • Labyrinth seal, protects front bearings and tool from outside contamination and extends bearing and tool life.
